Fantastic budget accommodation for Fit Folks

Hamid our host was a star, he was very attentive. Served the best Moroccan Whisky welcome of our trip across the country. He was kind enough to cook us an authentic Berber tagine and a hearty Moroccan breakfast. Fantastic budget accommodation, particularly good for people who enjoy hiking and trekking with the location bring near the foot of Morocco's highest peak, Toubkal. Hamid also offers guided treks of up to 5 days through the mountains.

A little cold at night in the winter, and really dusty so not the best place to dry laundry. The steps up to the house are "rustic" so a bit uneven, definitely only for the fit and able bodied. Not Hamid's fault but the road in from Asni is also rough following the 2023 earthquake, and currently in the process of being improved.

With a very friendly host who is happy to make tea and give you a good experience. Room is big enough and comfortable for many people. Host offered us transport from Marrakech (we did not need it but it was very nice to offer). Beautiful area, at night you can see all the stars in the sky

Hamid is a lovely and welcoming man. We felt instantly at home. The food was lovely. We paid extra for breakfast and a tagine dinner - glad we did.

Very good breakfast and dinner, Hamid is very nice and helpfull, giving all the information you need.

In winter is cold inside the house. But rooms have lots of blankets so we had to cold

A great quiet place to stay.

Hamid is a lovely man, full of information about the area. The lodgings are simple, clean and comfortable. Tea is free whenever you want it. The shower was hot, and the bathroom was clean, as was the whole place. A place to park a motorbike off the road and perfectly positioned to explore the area. I will be back .

Hamid has a lovely place situated between Asni and Imlil, it is perfectly positioned to explore the area. Hamid is very knowledgeable about the local area and can give suggestions for free, or guide you too. Perfect parking for my motorbike too. I am sure I will come back. Insha'Allah.

Hamid is a great man, he welcomed us into his home and provided us with a delicious tajine for dinner and a breakfast with bread, jam, yogurt. There is a shop nearby which sells Water for cheap. Hamid is happy to advise you on local walks and can even arrange guides and tours for you. The bedroom and beds is very comfortable and easy to live in.

At some points the water in the village went out and we were unable to shower or go to the loo. We only stayed for one night but this did happen twice in the time we stayed there.

The owner is a really nice person. His family too . We enjoyed our stay . Food was delicious and super tasty. The owner took us to the national park by donkeys nice experience.

Mr. Hamid was very a nice host. I had requested for vegetarian soup and he provided me with two! Bissara and harira. The food was delicious and room was neat. There is a stream running opposite to his house and I had a nice evening walk across the stream and a short hike. Overall, very good experience.

I can not understand some negative reviewers like Salim. If you are looking for a luxury resort there are surely other options. But if you are a hiker looking for an authentic experience in a homestay with an incredibly hospitable family this is the place for you. Hamid was super helpful showing is some nice dayhikes around the area. A guide is not needed for that by the way but rather kind of a rip off that is offered as obligatory. Hamid is a proud Berber man you can trust completely which is not always easy to find in Morocco. His wife made us some of the best Tajine we had on our trip so I would highly recommend to enjoy dinner there as well as the nice plentiful breakfast. They are still building out the Terasse on top of the Building but you can already enjoy a nice view over the valley and catch the last rays of sunlight there. All in all highly recommended!

Lovely place in beautiful valley.

Lovely people. Very welcoming. Nice big room for one person with 2 double beds. Owner seemed a bit stern at first but warmed up. You are up a valley but just by road. Parking for motorbike was just outside below house which is raised up,several steps. Not ideal but assured safe and it was. Good price. Food plentiful home cooking. There is a river just below 50 metre which you can walk down to.

Road a bit noisy but quietened at night. Was there at weekend though.

Great base for exploring. Excellent value. Hamid and family top hosts. Food excellent and Hamid knows the area like the back of his hand so can either guide or shows best treks etc. Overall great value for money. Thanks Hamid!

A genuine home stay with a very welcoming family.

The hospitality of Hamid and his family was touching. We loved the traditional Berber decor of the room and the delicious evening meals with other guests. Many different options for day trips or longer trips.

Nice quiet place in a Berber village. Hamid is a great host who offered us hiking trips nearby, arranged it based on our wishes and guided us around. Delicious home-made food included, including breakfast and dinner in the accommodation (different varieties of tajine on different days) as well as lunch during our trips. Hamid also helped us with arranging the transport from and to Marrakesh for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
